Othello

     
 Othello is a tragedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in aproximately 1603 and based on the italian short story. The tragedy begins with Iago who has been paid by Roderigo, a wealthy venetian, to spy on Othello. Iago reveals his officer, not him. Brabanzio finds out that, his daughter, Desdenora, has been stollen by and married to Othello.
Being caught, Othello explains that he wooed and won Desdemona with the stories of his adventures, and the duke finds Othello's explanation convincing and Desdemona herself defend her choice in marriage. The duke says that Othello must go to Cyprus for the defence against the turks. Roderigo tries to broke up the marriage of Othello and Desdemona because he was in love with her. Being tricked by Iago, Othello kills Desdemona for infedility. When he finds out that Iago tricked him that Desdemona was infidel he tries to kill him but he didn't succeded.
